Today, I’m diving deep into the fur-raising realities of what it’s really like to get a human. We all know they can be paw-sitively delightful companions, but there are a few things they forget to mention before you sign up for one of these hairless wonders. Let’s dive in!
1. No Personal Space
Seriously, they’re like velcro! Once they bond with you, they’re always in your business. Whether you’re trying to enjoy a nap in your favorite spot or just need a moment alone to contemplate the mysteries of life, there they are, right beside you.
2. Emotionally Unstable
Humans are a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute they’re ecstatic to see you, showering you with love and treats. The next, they’re inexplicably sad or stressed out about something called “work” or “bills”. It’s like living with a pack of drama queens sometimes.
3. Constant Gaslighting
Oh, the mind games! They’ll say one thing, then do another. Or worse, they’ll try to convince you that you didn’t see what you saw or hear what you heard. It’s enough to make you tilt your head in confusion (which, admittedly, is pretty adorable).
4. Lazy When It’s Raining
Humans have this bizarre aversion to water falling from the sky. They call it rain and suddenly all plans for outdoor adventures are off. They’ll lounge around the house, complaining about the weather, while you stare longingly at your leash, wondering when you’ll get to stretch those legs again.
5. And Again, No Personal Space!
Did I mention this already? Whether you’re trying to eat your dinner in peace or just relax on the couch, there’s always a human invading your space. It’s like they don’t understand the concept of boundaries.
Getting a human comes with its quirks and challenges, but let’s face it, life would be pretty boring without them. Despite the lack of personal space and occasional emotional turmoil, they’re pretty great at belly rubs and belly laughs. And hey, who else would throw a ball for us to fetch?
Until next time,
