It’s time for one of the most frequently asked questions my pawrents get: How often do you need to walk a mini poodle? Well, let me spill the kibble—if it were up to me, we’d be strutting our stuff every hour! But only when the weather is pawsitively perfect, of course. Here’s a peek into my daily walking routine:
First Walk: The Early Bird Stroll
My first walk happens when we wake up. It’s usually around 8 am on weekdays, but on weekends, we like to sleep in until 10 am. This is a quick trip, but I make sure to take care of all my business. No cutting corners here!
Second Walk: The Midday Adventure
Around 12 pm, it’s time for my longer walk. This is my favorite! We might head to the city, explore the woods, or if I’m really lucky, visit the beach since my grandpawrents live nearby the sea. These walks are filled with new sights, smells, and sometimes even a bit of socializing with other posh pups.
Third Walk: The Pre-Dinner Dash
Before dinner, around 5 pm, it’s time for another stroll. This walk helps build up my appetite and gives me a chance to stretch my legs after an afternoon of lounging in luxury.
Fourth Walk: The Nighttime Patrol
My last walk of the day is around 11 pm. This is my final chance to take care of business and ensure everything is in order before we head to bed. Depending on how the day has gone, this walk might be a quick loop or a leisurely pace as we wind down.
Now, I can hold my needs quite well, but let me tell you, when it’s time to go, I don’t mess around. I’ll be right at the door, paws up, making it crystal clear that it’s time for an outdoor adventure.
So, how often do you need to walk a mini poodle? The answer depends on your pup’s energy levels and preferences. For me, four walks a day keep me happy, healthy, and ready for all the fabulous activities in my life. Each walk is a chance to explore, exercise, and enjoy some quality time with my pawrents. Keep your pup active and they’ll be as posh and content as I am!
Until next time,
